My Actifit Report Card: October 13 2025
π Dawn of Happiness: Exercise by running and take care of yourself to recharge your spirits
Hello, my dear friends*
This morning is another dawn that begins with happiness, freshness, and a burst of positive energy. Waking up early and engaging in a routine we love and care about is like laying a solid foundation for the day.
πββοΈ Dawn of Power: Preparation and Morning Exercise
The alarm went off, signaling the start of a new day. The first thing I did was go to the kitchen. I cooked jasmine rice and prepared the ingredients for the opening of the restaurant today. The aroma of coffee and the early morning preparations gave me a sense of gathering energy and focus before the hustle and bustle of business began.
Once the kitchen chores eased, it was time for physical well-being. I called my husband to join me for a jog. Having him join me for a jog was incredibly inspiring. We slipped on socks and laced up our sneakers and stepped onto our regular running track, the long concrete road in the village. Running on the open road and the fresh air was truly therapeutic.
We started running from in front of the restaurant to the banks of the Trang River canal. This is a destination I particularly enjoy. Along the way, I couldn't help but capture these wonderful memories on this blog to record the beauty and feelings I'm feeling today.
Today, the sky was beautiful beyond words. It's amazing how the sky never looks the same every day. Sometimes, when I'm taking photos, the sky is a clear, cloudless blue, clean, and peaceful. But at other angles, the sky turns a dull brown, as if covered in a thin layer of mist or dust. This makes me wonder if there might be heavy rain today. Nevertheless, the overall weather is much better than yesterday, making me want to exercise harder. I keep running. Today, I feel much more intense and stronger than yesterday. My body is adapting to the exercise better. The fatigue that had been a hindrance the first few days has disappeared. The feeling of exhaustion has significantly decreased, allowing me to run longer and enjoy it more. The sounds of birds along the roadside melodiously chirped, as if greeting me as I ran past. It's like a beautiful accompaniment to my workout, filling my mind as my feet hit the road.
I noticed that the water level in the river was slightly higher than yesterday, indicating the abundance of nature this morning.
Finally, I was able to complete my goal of three laps this morning.
With my daily treadmill challenge accomplished, We decided to return home feeling refreshed and revitalized.
βοΈ Recharge Your Body and Mind: Before Starting an Important Mission
Upon returning to the restaurant, the first thing we did was recharge. I made two cups of fragrant coffee for my husband and I. We sat down at the restaurant's table, relaxed, and chatted about everyday things, whether it was the day's work plans or what we'd seen during our run. It was a short moment of closeness and sharing stories before the real mission began.
But before we officially opened, there was the most important and tender mission ahead: bathing Mom and feeding our adorable pet parrot. π¦π’π±π₯°π
π The Greatest Mission of Love: Caring for Mom and Parrot
π Bathing Mom: With Gentleness and Respect
Bathing the elderly must always be done with care, gentleness, and respect, to ensure Mom feels safe and comfortable. The entire process is designed to leave Mom feeling clean and relaxed, as if she's receiving therapy.
Equipment Preparation: I prepared a gentle liquid soap formula that is fragrance-free, paraben-free, and oil-free to prevent dryness or allergies. 1 soft towel
To clean the body, gently lather with liquid soap on the neck, shoulders, arms, and armpits, focusing on the folds. Then, clean the body and legs. Have Mom change positions (if possible) to thoroughly clean her back and buttocks. Be mindful of areas at risk for pressure sores.
Nourishing and Grooming
- After bathing, I massage a gentle moisturizer all over Mom's body to retain moisture and prevent dryness. Then, I dress her in clean, comfortable clothing to keep her feeling refreshed and warm all day long.
π¦ Our parrots are family members who require proper care for their health and longevity. Their diet must be varied and balanced. - Main daily foods
- Dry food
- Safe fresh fruits and vegetables, such as bananas, oranges, carrots, corn, and broccoli, are cut into bite-sized pieces and thoroughly washed. I also remove any potentially harmful seeds before serving.
- Occasionally, I supplement with five-color grains or plant sprouts for grains and snacks.
- Always provide her with fresh, pure drinking water and clean her food and water containers daily for good hygiene. After this, I'm ready to open my restaurant and happily greet customers with smiles.
