My Actifit Report Card: April 27 2026

Today I walked through parts of town I hadn’t really noticed before. New housing areas, still in development, quietly expanding into places that used to be empty.

The houses looked different. Cleaner lines, more thought in how they use energy. A resident I spoke to called them low-energy houses. It made sense, even without knowing the details.

I had left my phone at home, so no photo this time. Maybe another day.

For a moment I wondered how I would decide today, starting from zero. It’s tempting. A different approach, more efficient, more aligned with how things are built now.

But then again, what I have has grown over time. It fits. Not perfect, but adjusted. It works without draining me.

Strange how priorities shift.

Not everything new needs to replace what already works.
