Islamabad Unitefd have been the team to watch with bat in hand during the opening 6 overs so far but how will they cope now that Alex Hales is unavailable for the remainder of the season? Paul Stirling is still their and Islamabad will certainly be hoping that he can continue his rich vein of form as shown in the individual batting powerplay stats below

However, it's not just with bat in hand that Islamabad have dominated the early parts of games, they also have the lowest economy rate of any side side in the powerplay too.

This dominance up front has been as a result of new ball international pair Faheem Ashraf and Hasan Ali who not only have the lowest 2 economy rates of any bowler in the powerplay during PSL 2021 but have also taken 3 wickets a piece during the first 6 overs, a record only bettered by the ever impress Shaheen Shah Afridi.
