Raiders' Vontaze Burfict has season-long suspension upheld

Vontaze Burflct's season long suspension was upheld.  The league decided against hearing an appeal according to Derrick Brooks.

Burfict's hit was deemed unnecessary and could have been avoided.  The league is dealing with helmet to helmet hits in a harsh manner.  With the concussions and lawsuits out against it, the league is not taking the matter lightly.
