We will be having our first real cold snap of the year this week. We spent some time taking care of our hives and getting them ready. We added some quilt boxes to help with humidity

Often if its too humid the water in the hive will freeze and later melt and drip in the hive. The quilt box is supposed to help prevent that. Last few years we have lost our hives over winter. We have 3 pretty strong hives now and 1 kind of weak one. Hoping we can keep at least 2 alive! Added some more food to help them finish the year strong.
