My Actifit Report Card: October 14 2020
Been a while since I did an Actifit post so I thought I would do one this evening
This shot has nothing to do with today’s walking, but shows our backyard in the new house, the concrete patio and walkway and the stones beside it are all new since we moved in, and next up will be taking down that tree which isn't in good shape and doing the lawn over the next few weeks, Plus we have done a fair bit of work in the basement, putting up a couple of walls to make a room and cleaning out and painting the whole basement so we have been busy.
We have spend a lot of time out in our backyard, we love it so quiet and peaceful, ohh and i forgot to mention that white fence in the back is new also, the neighbours fence is old and rotting so since they didn't want to work with us for a new fence, we put up our own.
We have a table and chairs and a firepit out the back which have all got good use in the 3 months ISH we have been here.
Today I did get out for a walk with Lulu my wife around a couple of the trails here, was nice getting out and getting some fresh air after the last couple of days when it has been pouring down and so grey, today the sun was shining and even though it was a little cool it was pleasant for walking and saw some lovely fall colors, which I got shots of with my camera and will get around to editing at some stage.
I have so many photos to edit from our time here, we have bene getting out for lots of walks, and with the work around the house have been averaging over 10K steps most days, but just havent had the time or energy to do actifit posts

I have always been fairly active, I know it will be a struggle over winter so trying to make the most of the weather now
Okay. I understand; hope winter won’t be too full of snow.
I am hoping the same but the predictions are for a hard winter
The tree is in a bit of a tight spot there. I think I would have had it taken down before I did all that nice work, but.... a good tree person will certainly know how to avoid all the obstacles.
It really looks very nice there. I can see how ya'll are enjoying being out there.
Yeah that is a concern to be honest initially e planned ot keep the trees, but when we had some friends who know more about trees and landscaping than me came by they advised to get rid of it, and the company coming to cut it down apparently are very good at what they do so fingers crossed it all goes well
Just started giving it a try myself. 10 days in. Working to get a solid 30 days of at least 5K steps in then trying for some 10Ks. Dr. says I need it, go figure. Hoping the Hive will keep me motivated.
It is a good app to kepe one motivated, and building up slowly is a good idea let your body get used to the extra steps each day and not to over do it
Looks nice JJ, and there are a lot leaves to rake for your grandson 😊
I like it that you have put your fence in front of the old fence of your neighbor. Maybe now he will get rid of his rotten fence when there's a nice new one behind 😉

Thanks were very happy with it will be even better when we get the new lawn in, and you think that's a lot of leaves this is nothing compared to what it had bene like earlier that morning and I clean dup LOL
I am sure the old rotten fence of the neighbours will disappear very soon

Thanks it will look even better once we get the lawn done, but we are loving both the house and backyard and will continue to do so :)

Looks like a great place to hang out. Hopefully the neighbors are pretty decent even if they didn't want to work with you on the fence. I know the ones across the street shouldn't be much problem right? :)
No the ones to the back of our backyard are dead quiet and not a problem, I don't think the neighbours will be an issue we will leave them alone and hope they will do the same for us ;)
