Wilds Jr. following in father's footsteps

Shared From Dlike

Mitchell's Garnell Wilds Jr. wants to be a standout defensive back like his dad was.

This is so cool that a father can coach his son!
I bet this young man turns out to be a great player. I can tell that he has great respect for his father.

I look back on life and remember my father teaching me how to play and encouraging me to be the best I could. At the time, I felt he was too hard on me, now I see he just wanted the best for me!

Sports have a way of keeping young ones out of trouble and I suppose that's why so many parents like their kids to play.

It's different here in Africa. Most parents don't support their kids to do sport.

I'm sorry to hear that, I'm sure they have their reasons, life is so different over here!

Most of the parents now act worse than the kids at the sporting events. Its sadly funny how many out of shape parents are getting into fights at little league games.

Its nice to see parents being positive role models

This can be a double edged sword, it can go well but can also go wrong. It's not easy when you have to live up to the expectations and you have a big shoe to fill.
