Review of the Old film [ ESP– ENG ]
Old, es una película que se estrenó en el año 2021 donde una familia convencional de cuatro miembros viaja a unas "maravillosas vacaciones", estás vacaciones lastimosamente se salen un poco de control y una serie de acontecimientos imprevistos nos muestran lo corta que es la vida.
Old is a movie released in the year 2021 where a conventional family of four travels to a "wonderful vacation", but in the end this vacation gets a little out of control and a series of unforeseen events show us how short life is.
La película es dirigida por M. Night Shyamalan quien hace su aparición en varias escenas de la misma, podríamos decir que es casi imperceptible pero ahí está, eso me parece genial y creo que le da un toque especial a la película; a diferencia de como se hacía años atrás, hoy en día los directores son grabados en una pequeña escena para que el público los conozca mejor.
En cuanto a la trama de la película, hay varias cosas que en mi opinión no tenían sentido, por ejemplo: si el tiempo pasaba tan rápido ¿porqué los autores no morían de sed o de hambre?,¿sería quizás que esas necesidades básicas no eran tan importantes para el director y por eso no se hacían visibles en esos momentos donde él reloj corría más a prisa?, por otro lado, ¿porqué el bebé si murió de hambre y los demás no?
Tampoco me gusto la escena de la mujer que se deformaba, muy cruel, pero tal vez fue el toque principal del autor.
The film is directed by M. Night Shyamalan who makes his appearance in several scenes of the film, we could say that it is almost imperceptible but there he is, I think that's great and I think it gives a special touch to the film; unlike how it was done years ago, today the directors are recorded in a small scene for the public to know them.
As for the plot of the film, there are several things that in my opinion did not make sense, for example: if time passed so fast, why didn't the authors die of thirst or starvation, perhaps because those basic needs were not so important?
Perhaps those basic needs were not so important for the director and that's why they were not visible in those moments where the plot was running faster, on the other hand, why the baby died of hunger and the others didn't?
I also didn't like the scene of the deformed woman, very cruel, but maybe it was the author's main touch.
En cuánto al cabello de los personajes, este tampoco crecía🤦 ni las uñas, curiosamente la mujer estaba llena de canas y arrugas, pero tenía el mismo corte de cabello , al igual que los hombres, y los niños, estos crecían en altura y edad, pero el cabello y la ropa seguia igual. Vaya fallo, el de esas escenas, esto quizás le daba un toque de irrealismo a la película y hacía que se perdiera un poco el interés, pero bueno, hicieron lo mejor que pudieron y lo importante era transmitir la idea de que la ciencia favorece a unos pocos, pero a cambio perjudica a muchos.
Tampoco me gusto el final, porque es absurdo que una persona pueda durar tanto tiempo nadando bajo el agua, sin poder respirar y muchos menos unos niños que en realidad no sabemos si sabían o no nadar, pero como sabemos el cine todo lo hace posible.

Ahora hablando del significado de la película, esta me hizo reflexionar mucho sobre distintos temas, en primer lugar los seres humanos muchas veces creemos que somos inmortales, y en realidad nunca pensamos en la muerte y pensamos que tenemos toda la vida para cumplir nuestros sueños y metas, pero los años pasan y no en vano y en lo que menos pensamos es que vamos a envejecer.
Generalmente podríamos decir que el patrón de vida de un ser humano es de 80 años, el resto de los años vienen con penoso afan, porque llegan los problemas de salud fuertes, las incapacidades, la demencia y el ser humano pierde su vitalidad, cosa que se hace bastante notoria, son muy raros los casos en que las personas llegan a los 90 años vitales y fuertes, hasta ahora no conozco personalmente el primer caso.
Yo me doy cuenta que me estoy haciendo cada día más adulta, cuando veo a las generaciones venideras, y veo que crecen rápidamente, es como si sintiera un sacudon dentro de mi, y es que cuando uno se para a pensar o reflexionar y ver cuanto tiempo ha pasado, pues nos damos cuenta que el tiempo pasa rápido y verte en el mismo sitio, pero con menos vitalidad puede ser frustrante para muchos.

Por otro lado, y pensando en la humanidad, me duele ver cuánto daño nos hemos hecho a nosotros mismos. Científicos, médicos, ingenieros, Químicos y sobre todo los químicos en los alimentos, crean cada día mas conservantes para que la industria se enriquezca sin importar el daño que hace a la humanidad, también hemos creado bombas nucleares y un sin fin de enfermedades que en muchos casos han sido experimentos del ser humano. Somos realmente malos y sin sentimientos ha la hora de conseguir lo que queremos.
Esto me hace pensar en la carrera armamentista, la lucha por el poder, mientras muchos mueren de hambre y enfermedades debido a un sistema sanitario deteriorado, los gobiernos compran las armas más poderosas, que en ninguno de los casos beneficia a la humanidad, al contrario, nos perjudica cada día más y me pregunto ¿Será que estos gobernantes piensan que han comprado la eternidad o no se dan cuenta que ellos también van a morir?
Por otro lado, los experimentos Nazzi, según la ciencia, en estos años, fue el mayor avance que pudo haber tenido la medicina, pero a costa de muchas vidas humanas, de muchos insensibles que solo querían conocimiento y poder y hoy en día sigue sucediendo, pero mayormente con animales y en algunos casos con la vida humana.

Me pregunto como un ser humano puede secuestrar a un niño para extraerle sus órganos y luego venderlos, eso es el máximo de la aberración humana, pero sigue ocurriendo y la humanidad como si nada, a veces los animales son más sensibles y emocionales que nosotros mismos.
Y para terminar quiero hablar de las llamadas armas biológicas, armas de destrucción masiva, y me pregunto ¿en que cabeza razonable sale la idea de crear algo así? creo que los problemas psicológicos y la inhumanidad están a la orden del día, aún recuerdo la historia del chupacabras, que animal tan feo, viví mi infancia llena de terror por eso y vi las terribles noticias una y otra vez, la humanidad estaba alterada, desde mi punto de vista hoy en día pienso que eso fue un invento científico, si el ser humano ha tenido la osadía de clonar una oveja, un ser humano, y alterar los cromosomas de un no nacido, con cuánta más razón puede crear un animal mutante cómo arma de destrucción masiva, que además considero se les escapo y luego lo atraparon nuevamente.
También recuerdo una noticia de una plaga de langostas que había atacado un condado, curiosamente las langostas solo se comieron los cultivos de una marca específica de semillas y los otros no, ¿qué casualidad verdad? Entonces estos científicos locos ,porqué no razonan, saben tanto que lo que saben es hacer daño.

Hace algunos meses mi esposo y yo criamos conejos y el veterinario nos hizo mucho incapié en dos enfermedades: la fiebre hemorragica y la mixomatosis, incluso nos recomendó vacunarlos, porque estás enfermedades son mortales para el conejo y ustedes se preguntarán ¿que tiene esto que ver con la película?
Resulta que yo me puse a investigar un poco y me encontre que las dos enfermedades más mortales en los conejos, fueron creadas por el ser humano cómo arma biológica para eliminar una plaga de liebres que se estaban comiendo los cultivos de un país, y como crearon la primera enfermedad y hubo conejos que se hicieron resistentes a ella, decidieron crear la desegunda que es terriblemente mortal.
Hoy en día estamos pagando las consecuencias de esos experimentos con nuestros animalitos, de ahí lo que digo de los beneficios y grandes desventajas de la ciencia.
Finamente recuerdo el virus del antrax, se hizo muy popular cuando yo era joven, también la burundanga y bueno desde mi opinión Covid fue una arma biológica que mató a muchos y aceleró las enfermedades de unos cuantos. Curiosamente este virus afecta nuestros puntos más débiles, cuando a mi hijo le da Covid, siempre le afecta las piernas y la faringe, a mí me afecta a nivel muscular y el estómago y así sucesivamente, sé de personas que murieron después de Covid por ACV, se volvieron cardiopatas, también un gran número de personas presentan problemas renales, y el cáncer se ha vuelto más común que nunca.

He tenido amigas súper jovencitas que desarrollaron tumores malignos de la noche a la mañana en menos de un año y con un crecimiento exorbitante, quitándoles finalmente la vida, curiosamente todo esto después de Covid.
Desde mi punto de vista Covid nos ha restado años de vida y calidad de vida y así como en la película Old, el Covid nos robó el bienestar en un abrir y cerrar de ojos.
Hoy en día la gente muere de unas cosas que uno queda realmente sorprendido, enfermedades que nunca antes se habían oído nombrar, por ejemplo por donde yo vivo, en mi municipio generalmente mueren dos o tres personas por semana, por cáncer y cosas así y ni hablar del daño que hizo a las enfermedades mentales, si comienzo a hablar de ellas no terminaría nunca.
No podía dejar de mencionar la IA, muchos están emocionados y contentos con lo que puede crear, pero otros no tanto, incluso hay algunos asustados, considero que la IA en vez de crear beneficios va a traer mucho malestar a la humanidad, a veces pienso va a llegar un momento en que uno no va a saber distinguir entre lo que es falso y real porque todo se parece y la Inteligencia artificial cada día se perfecciona más, ahora podemos identificar imágenes falsas por las manos, los pies y los dientes pero más adelante todos esos detalles serán imperceptibles al ojo humano, y el ser humano sigue y sigue, ¿buscando que? No lo sabemos, pero desde mi punto de vista lo que menos busca es el bienestar de la humanidad.
En realidad esta película me dejó bastante triste, la ví como una verdad en nuestros tiempos, científicos locos trabajando en proyectos donde no les interesa la humanidad, gobernantes que solo buscan el poder a costa de lo que sea, y un mundo que no le interesa la vida de los demás.

Jajajajajaja... Terror, noooo que va. Lo mío es el drama 🤗🤣😂, la comedia y el romanticismo. Bueno me gusta la ciencia ficción... Pero de buenos directores, de los consolidados y probados.
Escribiendo este comentario me doy cuenta que en realidad yo veo de todo pero cuando una película a los 15 minutos no me engancha, no la veo más.

Es una de las películas de este director que menos me ha gustado, pero no quiere decir que sea mala , quizás porque el plop twist no me sorprendió. Ahora , te recomiendo ver su mas reciente película: Tocan a la puerta

A mí me impresionó bastante el efecto del paso del tiempo en las personas y cómo las enfermedades se iban acelerando a medida que pasar el tiempo.
Claro hay cosas que de verdad no tienen absolutamente nada de sentido pero bueno lo que cuenta es de entretenimiento y de verdad es muy bueno y cumple Gracias por compartir 😎😎

Wow @tejimundo tremenda reflexión extraes de esta película, a pesar que tiene varios aspectos que no fueron de tu agrado, pero estoy muy de acuerdo con tu reflexión sobre el paso del tiempo y como este nos afecta, al punto de cambiar nuestro comportamiento negandonos a envejecer o desaprovechando los momentos mas importantes de nuestra vida. En cuanto a la película creo que esos detalles que no variaban o cambiaban a medida que las personas se hacían viejas puede que le den ese toque de ficción o especie de alucinación.
Pues si , vamos a pensar así , para no criticar la peli, aunque si le hubiesen agregado el efecto del cabello desde mi punto de vista hubiese sido genial

Es interesante que establezcas paralelismos con la vida real y el como ha existido tantas enfermedades y problemas, creo que está es una de las razones por las cuales Old me marcó tanto, su premisa es terrorífica y está ejecutada a la perfección, también aprecio que su final sea relativamente positivo, aunque nos hicieran dudar de la moralidad de sus experimentos.
Lo que más me impresionó de esta película es como las grandes farmacéuticas usan a las personas para probar medicamentos sin importar si esas primeros experimentos no funcionan, se pierde una vida pero ellos siguen experimentando y al final de la película se ve como se justifica la muerte de pocos por la salvación de muchos, según ellos y es algo horrible.
Aunque tiene razón en alguna incongruencias que tiene pues la verdad es que no me pareció tan mala. El paso del tiempo es increíble, es más lo veo a diario cuando en el espejo me veo igual pero veo niño que ha crecido y ha cambiado su apariencia.
Si yo también veo el paso del tiempo y a veces eso nos atormenta , y lo de las farmaceuticas parece descabellado , pero se de medicamentos que han sido probados en personas que les causa la muerte , sin querer es una realidad
