Day with my wife and Haircut for the dog. My Actifit Report Card: July 3 2023
Today's big accomplishment. The doggo went from "Slightly homless looking" (according to my son)
to freshly shaved and fuzzy.
Overall not a bad day.
My jaw is mostly feeling better. Dry socket covered up and I can eat real food again.
Dog's bowels are back to normal so I got to sleep through the night. Horray!
Went on his regular morning walk at 7am which is no problem for me. Plus got 5K plus steps in.
Afer that off to the groomer for the dog to get shaved for his birthday. Which means I had 3 hours of peace in the house with no doggo. Plus my wife was at the gym and my son asleep. Ahhh...peace in the home.
After that my wife wanted to go shopping at Costco. Ugh. Crowded parking and lots of people. Not my favorite scene but have to do what I have to do.
Got doggo and then came home. My oldest son wanted to learn how to cook Sissig (filipino dish) so the afternoon was cooking plus making a post on Hive.
Personally I'm not a Sissig kind of guy, I just grilled up a couple of burger patties and fries :)
Did some battles on Splinterlands. Paid all the monthly bills...paid off the fridge and washing machine I purchased yesterday (that hurt). Then of for evening dog walk. A nice tip around the park with my wife.
and it must be awfully warm out. We a doggo distractor like this:
and the dog more just went...nah...too hot to do a chase.
Came home, write my Actifit blog and now its time to sit down and watch "The Witcher" with my wife. Or maybe talk about investing in a TFSA...lets see what happens.
Until tomorrow.
Thanks for dropping by.

Nice post👏
Thank you 😊
Quite an eventful day I must say.
Wait the dogs birthday was when you bought it or when she was brought to the house?.
You must be a real chef to have so many recipe that your son wants to learn from.
Am glad that you can eat real food again.
The dog's birthday is when it was born. We got him when he was 6 weeks old. So we have had him 2yrs, 10months and 2weeks....and I think I've been the person who has walked him 95% of the time...and I'm the one who said I don't want a dog.
Hmm.... something seems wrong with that 😶
As for me being a real chef? Nope. I'm just good at "Survival cooking" easy stuff to keep you from dying. I'm also pretty good at "Food Chemistry" making something from super basic starting ingredients. (Bread, Soy Milk, KimChi, Cookies, Soup, etc)
In my house if you want the GOOD food you know that Dad isn't making it, that's a mom thing 😎
