Update, Actifit, Cubieverse and more. My Actifit Report Card: December 8 2023
First, an update from yesterday. If you read my report you probably saw this image and I said the area was cordoned off for a police incident.
Today I learned a little bit more. It seems that there was a 31yr old woman going across a crosswalk who was hit by a vehicle. She suffered severe head trauma and couldn't feel her legs. The police investigated, paramedics stayed with her and air evac came to fly her to hospital. However, she didn't survive :(
In a little bit of related news my son's school is about 2 blocks from this area. This morning there was a police presence there as it seems that a homeless person known to police for mental disorder and drug use ... was found dead on the field in front of the school.
Go to school ... see dead person and police... what a way to start the day.
Anyways...
As I worked today the day was a repeat of yesterday. Get up and walk dog. Go to work and get steps at work. Come home and walk dog. Do housework to tidy up the house--while my wife is out shopping with friends.
Now I mentioned cubieverse yesterday. I mentioned that its simple. Walk to vaults, answer questions and get crypto.
@monica-ene mentioned that while the amount paid may not be worth it there are other reasons to play and enjoy
@jmis101 said it seemed like a lot of work.
In this update I'll address a couple things. First: Cubieverse allows to make money in two ways (1) answer questions and (2) work the auction house. In answering questions there is a hard limit on how much you can make monthly.
- If you set up a hunting ground with 10 friends
- If you walk 10km every day around the hunting ground.
- If you answer every question perfectly
Then you will be making a maximum of $400 HBD monthly.
So, the question is: Is that enough money to be worthwhile? It is certainly more than I could reasonably make with Actifit. The 10km walk is maybe 12K steps so not that much more than I'm currently doing.
However, cubieverse works best with friends and getting other people to play is rewarding because multiplayer is fun. However it is also challenging because hard to convince 10 other people to want to walk 10km daily :)
As for how hard it is. The basic questions are actually quite easy.
First you pick a category.
Then answer a question
Then get a reward.
As for finding the chests to open. Really easy.
For example this street in real life
Looks like this in cubieverse.
I can tell that if I walk straight ahead I'll meet up with 3 white vaults and 1 blue vault.
So the question is:
How much money would make it worthwhile?
How difficult is too difficult?
I'd love to get responses from anyone who is interested.
If not. Well, I'm going to continue telling about the game in the next few blogs and keep playing.
And that is it for tonight.
Thanks for dropping by :)

Hello Mr. @terganftp so glad to come across your actifit post.
So much interested in the question and answer game. Kindly enumerate more about it. Thanks
Although I'm very busy this day but maybe I'll create time for it immediately I'm done with clients works.
I've check @jmis101 blog but I've not seen any post related to it which would have been added advantage to learning more about it
She actually responded to my Actifit Report yesterday saying it seemed like a lot of work. If you have specific questions let me know otherwise I'll be taking a bit about cubieverse each day. Little bits rather than a huge ugly single post.
I've been playing for a couple years while it was in beta. It just released worldwide last month.
Thanks for the offer
I’ve read your previous post and get expose to it
I’ll surely step in to it
You might want to wait until I finish telling the good and the bad. Yes $400/ month is possible (I've made just over $2400 from our).... but it is a long haul to get cash. Better to know the good AND bad before you start 😉
Okay
I’m anticipating to read about both good and bad
Kindly posts them and tag me
Working on the post now. Getting pictures and my 10k steps then will write a longish post.
If you are still interested after the post let me know and I'll see if I can support your cubieverse endeavor
I am just getting to know more about the dear.
Okay
No problem but you can share a little idea about it
Check his actifit report for yesterday and today.
That's when he started sharing more about the game.
Okay
Lemme do that right now
Alright dear
Currently on it
Okay
Okay.
Thank you very much dear for this, I really appreciate.
Question one : You need someone close by via walking to be able to play the game?
Two : You certainly need to find similar place to walk in real life to match the game graphics?

Hahahah....
It seems like alot of fun.
The questions are simple enough.
I think the hard part will be getting 10more people to walk.
But I believe that if it is possible to earn even $300HBD..some here may likely quite their jobs for it .
Remember that minimum wage is still $30HBD here 😂
With the old version of the game I've gotten a maximum of $250HBD in one month but it was an awful lot of walking.
The new version of the game is .... different .... the developers are taking steps to make sure that the cash payout is sustainable. They are getting sponsorship from influencers (freckled zelda was the first and they made a cubie in her honor...which is my cubie right now). They also are getting sponsorships from local businesses (Pizza Hut and Tim Hortons are the first there).
I really like to see their devotion to getting money into the game and having them make people work hard and together to get money out of the game. Money in means they will be around for the long term. Working together is important to keep people interested and feeling of community. Money out .... well, that is the whole point!
Right now I'm working towards making the CET (crypto exchange terminal) so that I and everyone else in my town can withdrawl our coins. If I go "free to play" it will take 10 months to get enough resources to build it ... sigh.
Might have to break down and spend a little real money so I can withdraw my crypto... but even with spending it will take me 2 months to build what I need.
I did hear back that they are expanding to many countries but are doing each one slowly. They don't want to get into legal trouble as crypto isn't legal everywhere right now :(
Nigeria will just have to wait for a little while I suppose.
Maybe when it releases there it will be time for me to visit. Historically on launch they put up a launch party with a Purple vault quest. The purple vaults are $1000 HBD vaults which are VERY difficult questions with 30 second time limit. Still, it would be fun for me to give that quest a try. Maybe meet up with some of the Hive Learner community at the same time ..
.. provided I don't chicken out and get too worried about being kidnapped or something ;)
That purple vest quest is a huge jackpot. You are vast in knowledge I wish to see you try that when the time comes.
Well it will be hard not to worry
Personally I will worry about your coming too.
Nevertheless we only hope for the best. I have people visiting our church's Headquarters in Abuja from time to time. They come to experience the worship here and the church guarantees their safety until they return back. Staying within such environment is totally safe.
Haha..
Thank you for your compliment on my knowledge.
In this instance it is unfounded unfortunately. When the Cubieverse people do a country quest the Red or Purple vault (100-1000HBD) asks a very difficult question that is specific to that country as an example the Canada question in Vancouver asked about what aboriginal band originally held the land on which the cubie vault was located.
The answer was the Salish tribe. Very few Canadians know that answer. Outside of Canada I doubt anyone would know that answer :)
I ask lots of questions and am gradually gaining information about Nigeria however, I'm sure you will agree that I'm pretty ignorant about your country. For example I know there are different tribes with different languages but that English is widely spoken. If you asked me the different tribes I'd be lost. Ask me about historical heroes of each tribe (or wars, traditional territory, etc) I'd have Zero chance :)
As for visiting the country...
..... I'm sure my wife would never allow it
..... But God has made weirder things happen :)
I'm sure my wife would never allow it
..... But God has made weirder things happen :)
This part got me laughing.
Your faith though
Accident always creates these chills in me. That location looks really calm for someone to get hit but some driver won't just maintain a good speed limit.
That's the problem with Canadian roads. They are in good repair and wide and inviting to go fast. The accident happened when school let out for the day and there were many children walking along the streets. Some impatient driver probably got upset about having to go slow because of so many children, traffic guards and so on. Then hit some lady in a crosswalk .... Very Sad.
In the Philippines the roads are so congested and in such bad repair that no-one goes fast on the roads. Accidents happen but are usually much less severe. I guess sometimes there are benefits to having terrible roads :)
