Meeting up with family. My Actifit Report Card: April 27 2025

Today in Singapore my wife met up with cousins she hasn't seen in a very long time. We are talking about looking after them when they were in diapers.

However they are working in Singapore and it was a great time to catch up.

We started at the Singapore version of universal studios with Legoland and more. Not really my thing. Well I should say we started with lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant but it didn't take pictures. And if you ever read this thanks Bojo got paying for lunch.

We continued around the area and there were some really pretty areas. Complete with peacocks.

There were lots of tourist this there from gondola to 4d rides to a Singapore version of Madame Tussauds but we skipped those.

We did walk through a beautiful forested area though with lots of signs about the local wildlife.

That was really pretty but soon we saw signs for a beach walk and as my wife always wants to touch the beach we went that way.

While the beach was nice nearby there were gigantic treehouses which have an awesome view of the beach.

We also saw the Sentsora area with lots of flowers and an AR experience. I couldn't be bothered to download the AR app but the flowers were nice.

After that gardens by the Bay at Marina Bay. It also had the sky tree which were cool but again a tourist trap.

I much preferred the lake and the trees and the walking path

Finally we ended up at the mall. So super expensive with nothing but premium designer brands.

However if we come back I think we will have to spend one night at this hotel.

Mostly because the ship on top is supposedly the worlds largest infinity pool. That would be cool.

Then it was off to dinner and back to the hotel.

Overall my wife had her apple watch say 21000 steps but Actifit only 10k.

Either way my feet were sore and I'm happy to just share some pictures.
