A Day shopping. My Actifit Report Card: August 6 2025

Well. Looking at my deck I realized that the people who put it in didn't actually secure it well enough and there is one board that has lifted badly.

As much as I wish I could help going with grounds work I figured that deck needed to be fixed. Unfortunately the tools I have on site are just plain bad.

Now in my defense when I purchased them I knew nothing about tools. So I did what and guy does when they need something cheap to do a very minor project.

I bought something cheap that would with for the small job.

Something like this

The problem is if you have something you tend to use it even if it is crappy. Well my son went into trades and got professional level tools. Using them let me know how bad what I have really is.

So today was a shopping trip to buy a drill and impact. The first place I sent didn't have the Milwaukee.

They had this.

Which honestly would probably work for me.

The next place was Walmart which had the budget version (Hart).
Next up was timber Mart which did have the Milwaukee but it was a bad price.

So I was wondering if I should buy something like the Makita. But finally I found the Milwaukee at our final destination even better it was seniors day so I got 10% off.

But it was a lot of looking for tools. Well I also looked at cars but.... Not quite the time to buy one of those.

And that's my 5000 step journey for today.
