After the windstorm. My Actifit Report Card: October 13 2025
This morning I woke up to the sound of wind blowing stuff around. Not the best sound in the world because as a homeowner it's easy to wonder about all the things that can go wrong.
As you can see in the first image there were branches down in the park. In addition to that there were big piles of leaves piled up the streets.
Later in the day I found out that many people in my town were without power but my house was unaffected.
It was beautiful and bright and sunny.
Kind of funny. The homestay students thought "sunny, must be warm" but nope. It was only about 10c and with just winds it was certainly jacket weather.
Add the dog? He kept eating grass but it caught up with him. I wondered why he was hesitant to walk...
This is him before he threw up the grass he ate. Sigh.. not the smartest dog but get I got my steps and a lot of it because of him. Can't complain too much.
