And now Glasgow.

Ok as a Canadian seeing a "Canadian" restaurant in Spain is kind of funny.

Especially when the menu isn't even remotely Canadian. But that's ok, it was still fun to see.
But that was last night. Today was about getting to Scotland.
Had to start the morning with my caffiene of course.

Something funny about "Hola Cola" but it got me started at 545am.
Then it was a taxi (hooray for cabify app... Half the price of Uber). My thoughts about early morning airport?

The wait at the airport sucked as usual. However soon enough I was in Edinburgh.

Frustrated because the sign was too large to get into the frame.
But next stop was actually Glasgow.

Took the bus and it was a nice ride. The greenery really made me think of Canada.... If it had hundreds of years to manicure the wilderness :)

Got to Glasgow and got to the hotel.
Tiny tiny tiny

Then it was time to walk through the downtown. That was an experience.

Lots and lots of people ranging from classy and upscale to homeless and ragged plus everything in between. Did I say lots and lots? The Streets were packed which kind of surprised me.
Of course by now it was getting late and time for dinner. Lots of North American fast food for restaurants like McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, Taco time, Popeyes and Burger King. But we decided on fish and chips so I can honestly say I had fish and chips in the UK.

Plus I got to try Irn Bru which was... Interesting.
The restaurant owner said it was cough syrup flavor but honestly it wasn't nearly that bad.
Then we walked back to the hotel to rest before we have a busy day exploring tomorrow :)
And that's how I got my 10k steps today
