The sky is still blue
Good day pals, I told you all am fully back. My absence was as a result of being sick. I was advise to go on rest for some few days which I just did. At this moment I won't lie to you, I am fully back to my full self. Just like what I said on my last post I still want to use this medium to say I am very grateful to those who noticed my absence and decided to contact me through various means I am really grateful.
I was about congratulating Chelsea fc on the day they won the Uefa champions league but their fans noisy lifestyle distracted me badly. I don't know if this is same elsewhere but Chelsea fc fans are very noisy, we referred to them as tout here. Half of my countries population should be Chelsea fc fans😂, they are just all over the place disturbing our peace but nonetheless let us be truthful, it is their season, let them celebrate.
We all knows that the Uefa champions league is one of the most dreaded sort after trophy in the history of soccer. Winning this cup means a lot to any team because of the name surrounding it and how stressful it is to achieve. Before you can win it i.e the Uefa champions league, you must have defeated over 6 teams and at same time played over twelve (12) matches. Not just playing those matches alone, it will be you playing against champions from different part of europe. If we are to trace from history, Europe has one of the best team.
So with the teams from different Europe league, you should be prepared to face competition from the best teams in the world. Team like Real Madrid, Barcelona fc, Atletico Madrid represent Spanish league while Manchester city, Manchester United, Chelsea fc, Liverpool fc, Arsenal fc and host of others represent the English premier League. German league sees Borrussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and host of others representing them. I am using the above them as examples, it is usually the team that makes top 4 that qualifies to play in the Uefa champions league. This is what really makes it precious, unique and sort after trophy. I will call it treasure.
One thing that makes it unique is how the organisers package it, they makes it look like the world cup. One thing we should know is that the Uefa champions league is just representing Europe continent only i.e Africa, South America, North America, Asia and Australia have their own Champions league but because when it comes to soccer it is the Uefa champions league that is the most known and also Europe has the best league and teams, this makes the Uefa champions league look like the best.
I will be sparing some time by talking about Uefa champions league in another publication but right now, let us talk about Chelsea fc. First of all I am using this medium to say congratulation to Chelsea fc for making the England proud by putting their name on the trophy as they add to their treble and the English premier league treble when it comes to the Uefa champions league. When it comes to Uefa champions league, Real Madrid is the team that has won it the most, they have won it a record 13 times, Ac Milan 7 times, Liverpool fc 6 times, Bayern Munich 6 times, Barcelona fc 5 times etc.
When it comes to the English premier league team, it is Liverpool fc that have won the Uefa champions league the most thereby making them a very big team when it comes to the competition. As for Chelsea fc, I was really happy for them because a lot of fans including me thought that the cup will be heading to Manchester city because of their good run but at the end, Chelsea fc was able to cope with the pressure as they end up walking away with the trophy. You just have to see how fun and loving the match was. It was Manchester city that were missing a lot of chances while Chelsea fc was able to make do of the one they got and that does the magic as it seals the match for them. The match ended 1 Nil in favour of the blues, Chelsea fc.
With this win for Chelsea fc, it now adds to their tally as they can now beat their hands on their chest as they takes their UEFA champions league trophy tally to 2. Congratulation champions as the sky will remains blue for the time being. With such win, Chelsea fc will be playing against Villarreal and after that they will be playing in the Club world cup competition, a win for them will see them being crowned champions of the world.
