Tottenham Hotspur versus Liverpool fc match: A match surrounded with missed opportunities

The match between this two giant has proven to be one of the best match that I have watched when it comes to the English premier league so far. It is full of enjoyment and happiness. Assuming that at the end one side moves on with the point it could have been a bad one for the side that loosed such point. At a point in time I was really disappointed by how the match was going, it was looking so poor for my side Liverpool fc but at the end my boys did a good job and we ended up securing a draw.

I will first of all used this match to discuss about various rating when it comes to this match. Sorry to say, I will only discuss about the Liverpool fc players here, this is simply because they are the only side I knows the in and out about, this is holding to the fact that I am one of their biggest fan in the country that I am residing in. Many people have asked me what am I benefitting from soccer or the club I am supporting. Well, I told them money is not everything, the joy and love that I am getting from this soccer alone means a lot to me. If you are a Liverpool fc fan you will understand what I am enjoying. This is more than what I can explain.

  • Alisson Becker; I saw people giving him 8/10 and I am really surprised. To me Alisson Becker deserved to be named man of the match. Just take a look at how many save he made in the match alone. Tottenham Hotspur could have won the match with like 4-5 goals margin but he was very sharp to narrowed all the angle and made good save when called upon. One thing that I noticed about Alisson Becker is that when it comes to big matches he is very serious but when we are paying against a smaller team he won't take such match serious. Well, Alisson Becker is my man of the match, 10/10 for him.

  • Trent Alexander-Arnold: Did you guys noticed that Trent Arnord is so full of confidence? He is no longer that small boy you use to know, he has grown into something else and I am so happy for him. Just look at how he controls, make passes and score goals, I respect him so much. He did his part in the match and I enjoyed his performance so well. I will rate him 8/10, not his best but he did well.

  • Joel Matip; I just don't know what to say but let me say that I am so happy with the way Joel Matip has improved when it comes to his form. Should I say that Jurgen Klopp have impacted him well or Van Dijk, but nonetheless despite with his age he has stand out tall and did amazingly well. I am so glad for and happy for him, he is a very good and talented player. I will rate him 7/10, not the best but he intercede his opponent so well.

  • Ibrahima Konate; Should we call him another Man of the match? If we have space for two man of the match I will rate him the second. I remembered that when he arrived at Anfield I was the one criticizing him, I said he his a waste of money, his tackles are bad and all that but he is gradually telling me that I am wrong. Take a look at the tackle and numerous saves he made that could have lead to goal, I need to see more of this and once more I think he has learnt from Van Dijk. Will rate him 9/10.

*Andy Robertson; One of the best buy for Liverpool fc so far. I am always happy whenever I sees him, Andy Robertson is just too good and he keeps giving his best, this is the more reason I love him so much. From his performance when it comes to the match, I will give him 7/10, not his best night but he did well. So painful he was red carded.

Andy really needs to control his temper more often. It is not the first time he acts unsportsmanlike. Liverpool's defense looked kinda lost.
