NFL Schedule release tonight at 8pm Eastern

So the NFL is releasing the official 2022-2023 schedule tonight on national TV.

This is a big deal because why? We have known for months what teams would be facing each other, does it mean more when those games are put on a calendar? C'mon get real... The league is creating a media event and promotion in order to get more advertising dollars, more hype for the season, and trying to build excitement. Do you think we could get any more excited about Broncos vs Seahawks if it was played in week one or week 18?... NO!!!

Russell Wilson was gonna face his old team regardless and we knew this as soon as the trade was completed months ago. Do you think just because it's slated to be the first Monday Night Football game of the season makes any more of an intriguing matchup as if it were to happen later in the year? Hell no... Dear NFL... please stop making this league a shit-show hype machine and allow the NFL to be the NFL... good grief.

Ok, maybe I'm Debbie Downer for not playing along, but geeeez give me a freaking break with the hoopla, the hype, the buildup, and the Bull$hit that is the NFL schedule release. WOW, the Bills are facing the Rams in the very first game of the season... who cares what week it is?.. do you think @jongolson cares about what week the Bills will face the Rams?... As I said, he KNEW the Bills would play the Rams this season MONTHS ago!!! It doesn't matter what week on the schedule it will fall, it was always gonna be a prime-time game no matter if it was Thursday night, Sunday night, Monday Night, or Thanksgiving Day... it was going to always take place in prime time...

For the love of god quit making the NFL into the WWE and let's just play the damn games already...
