Compost pile getting active 🤘 | My Actifit Report Card: February 14 2023

Been feeding the pile a lot lately with grass and wood chips. I was anxious because it wasn't warming up but yesterday when turning it around a little bit of vapor was coming from the center. I placed my hand and it was starting to give some heat which was a joy.

I didn't want to do compost because I really like the chop and drop method, but I'm thinking of finding ways to harness the heat for the winter so I got motivated to go for it
