Hey people!
Today was another good day. I woke up with a spring in my step and a smile on my face 😊
I got a tip from my last customer of the day which is always nice. I was talking with them too about their neighbor. Their neighbor has a YouTube channel and makes six thousand dollars a month from it 😱 I was like wow I need to start a channel 🤣 It would be amazing though to make that kind of money 💰 but I'm not to the level yet 😂
After work I took a shower and then went to target to buy some essential supplies like shampoo and stuff.
Now I'm relaxing with some grapes 🍇 after playing Breath of Fire II on my Switch. It's an old school RPG but I'm really enjoying it!

There are mostly three types of YouTube channels I watch; Homesteading, online reselling (eBay, Amazon, etc), and Gaming. My goal is to one day get a good camera and start making some videos.
I already do the online reselling. I hit up thrifts and offers on FB Marketplace to resell. I do online auctions and government auctions. I also do flea markets and garage sales. I was doing it part time until the virus helped force my early retirement. One of the guys I watch for one month he mentioned made $3600 from YouTube that month.
One of the Homesteaders I watch is a trained nurse. Even though he’s in North Carolina, I’m sure he was making bank. He just quit a few weeks ago to focus on the farm because YouTube was equal to his salary.
So you can make good money there, but it’s not overnight. The metrics are based on number of subscribers and number of views. You have to build a following, but it can be done.
Yeah like most things it takes a lot of time, effort, and luck to get to the point where you can go full time. That's crazy a nurse being able to go full time though they make crazy money! If I were more academically gifted and had the time and money I would like to go back to school to do something like nursing. It seems like it would be rewarding both monetarily and with the personal satisfaction of helping those in need. Maybe someday 🤷♂️
