My Actifit Report Card: November 21 2022

A short walk at the beach to get some sea air got my lungs freshened u, then later it was time for my first run with my group since I had covid. There were plenty of walk breaks in between bursts of higher intensity.

Nice to get the legs moving again after a couple of weeks of taking less than 900 steps per day.

It’s a gradual return to exercise for me, which is harder than I expected. I’m dying to get stuck in to some of the brutally intense training sessions that I used to really enjoy, but for the moment I feel it’s wiser to to take a more measured approach, and see how my body responds.!

Great to see your back. Covid knocked me around a bit too. It too weeks longer than I expected to get back to 100% . I just listened to my body and did what I could when I could. All that sea air has got to be good.

Yep, love the sea air, especially when it’s windy and you can taste the salt in the spray.
I was lucky I only had a mild dose, but I’m still pacing things slowly as my resting HR still isn’t back to where it should be.
