Fear not kid, for tis not a book, but a mere facsimile; a book like object, designed to be used kind of like an oversized matchstick. A match-book, if you will.
And it was from this single flame that the fires were kindled for our performance as part of Samhain Charrai festival.
The weather was not our friend alas, and the rain meant a stage so slippery that almost all movements caused sliding.
Add that to dealing with wet fire props, and it all made an exciting end to my day, after already spending several hours stiltwalking in another part of the country.
