Leider gleich mal die schlechte Nachricht vorweg.
Mit den Verteidigern Brandon Dillon und Luke Hughes fallen die nächsten 2 Spieler verletzungsbedingt aus, das zu kompensieren ist fast schon unmöglich.
Nemec und Cholowski kamen somit zu den ersten Playoff Einsätzen ihrer Karriere.
Der Beginn heute war auch wirklich gut und im 1. Drittel hatte man fast den Eindruck die Mannschaften haben die Dressen getauscht, somit ging es mit einer 1:0 Führung in die Drittelpause.
Leider hat man da scheinbar wieder retour getauscht, denn von da an war Carolina wieder tonangebend.
Verhaut hat man sich die kleine Chance heute aber trotzdem selber, wenn man im Powerplay anstatt sich wieder Führung zu bringen einen Shorthander fängt.
Danach war Carolina einfach wieder zu gut als dass sich sie das nochmal nehmen lassen,

Besser war es als im 1. Spiel, ok das war auch nicht schwer, aber eben immer noch nicht gut genug um die Hurricanes zu gefährden.
Mit einem 0:2 geht es jetzt zurück nach New Jersey und die Chance es noch zu schaffen sehe ich schon als verschwindend gering an.
