I hope that the Devils will take another step forward this year, but to be a contender, they definitely need at least one more elite winger and a good third-line center. I don't know yet whether Glass can fill that role.

Not sure about Glass. Seems like he should be bigger and have scored more goals by now. If third line center is your concern, you are in good shape.
Speaking of underbaked, our prospect pool of make my head hurt a little. Some bright spots.
Basically, I do believe that the Devils are in a good position this year, except for two or three positions. We'll see.
There are two of my compatriots playing for the Canadiens.
I expect David Reinbacher to make his mark in the NHL once he finally manages to stay injury-free.
As for Vinzenz Rohrer, who joined from SC Zurich this year, I would be surprised if he makes it into the squad this season. Well, if not, he'll just go back to Zurich.
