Ramadan Steps, Silent Hunger & A Stronger Soul | Actifit Report
Today was not just about steps… it was about sabr.
Ramadan is such a strange and beautiful month. The body feels weak sometimes, but the heart feels stronger. I woke up early for sehri. Sleep was incomplete, eyes half closed, but there was peace in that quiet time before Fajr. We ate simple food, drank water, made intention for fasting… and then the long day began.
During Ramadan our routine completely changes:
🌙 Wake up before Fajr for Sehri
🤲 Offer Fajr prayer with sleepy but sincere heart
🚶 Try to stay active even while fasting
📿 Recite Quran whenever possible
🍽 Wait patiently for Maghrib to open the fast
🕌 Taraweeh prayers at night
The most difficult part? Whole day without food and water. Not even a sip. Sometimes throat feels dry. Sometimes energy drops. But that “ghurbari” feeling (empty stomach, slight weakness) reminds us of poor people who live like this daily. Ramadan teaches empathy.
Today I walked more than usual despite fasting. Honestly, it was not easy. Around afternoon I felt tired and thought maybe I should rest. But then I told myself — if millions of Muslims around the world are fasting together, why should I complain?
From Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, from small villages to big cities, Muslims wait for the same Maghrib adhan. That unity is powerful.
When Maghrib time came and I took the first sip of water… I cannot explain that feeling. It’s not just water. It feels like mercy.
Ramadan blessings I personally feel:
❤️ Heart becomes softer
🤝 More patience in behavior
🙏 Dua feels more powerful
🧠 Mind becomes more disciplined
💪 Self-control increases
This month is not about hunger. It is about training the soul. Even my Actifit steps feel different in Ramadan — slower, but more meaningful.
