Arsenal, again.
I just finished watching the second leg of the second semi-final between PSG and Arsenal. I feel for the Gunners right now because this was their only hope of ending the season with a trophy, even though beating PSG despite their one-goal deficit was seen as an impossible task.
I watched the game from beginning to end, and immediately after PSG scored their first goal, I wanted to turn off my phone because I felt the match would no longer be competitive. At that moment, Arsenal were trailing by two goals on aggregate. But when I saw the fighting spirit of Arsenal, pushing to turn things around, I stayed put and continued watching. However, PSG weren't relenting at all—they had their game plan perfectly worked out, and it paid off for them.
The match ended 2-1, with a 3-1 aggregate, and it's goodbye to Arsenal. They couldn't fulfill their dream of reaching the final.
No title for them this season.
They're becoming very used to this pattern. They put in good effort in all their matches, but in the end, nothing lands in their hands. That's so bad! It's almost like they're cursed.
Congratulations to all PSG fans!
