My impressions from the amateur football team training

England is considered the cradle of football. In countries like England, where football is very popular, passion and excitement are high even in the teams in the lowest classification. Usually, fans passionately support the team of the city or town where they were born. This is the case in Germany, Italy and South America. They support their local football team, not the biggest, strongest team.

Isn't that what you really think should happen? Shouldn't a fan support a team where they can easily watch a live football match? It doesn't make much sense to me to support the team in the most remote corner of the country. There are people in the stadium who can't watch their team's games. This is generally the case in Turkey. First of all, there are the teams that the person supports. They usually support Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor teams, and local teams in their own cities.

While I was walking yesterday afternoon, passing near the training ground, I noticed that an amateur team was training. It was an amateur team because there is no team that competes in professional leagues where I live. As I got closer to the training ground, I immediately understood which team it was. This team was Bitlis Özgüzelderespor, one of the 1st regional teams of the Turkish Regional Amateur League.

This week's game is very important for the team. Two games left of the regular season and 5 points ahead of his nearest rival. If he wins the match that will be played in his own field, he will play the play-offs to compete in the 3rd league, the professional league. If he doesn't win this week, his job will be difficult because he will face the team in the 2nd place in the last week.

The team has a very ardent fan base. The stadium is about 5,000 people and it's hard to find empty seats every game. When there is no place in the stadium, there are people watching the match from the places where I took the photo, from the high-rise apartments of the apartments. If there is enough space in the stadium, 7,500-8,000 people can watch each match.

Winter conditions in the city are quite harsh. The training ground, the stadium is mostly covered with snow. As can be seen in the photo, the snow plow could not clear the entire field. There is a part that has not been cleaned in the middle right side.

I changed my position so I could watch the training more closely, but this time there was a fence in front of me. The coach had the players make a double goal match at first. Then he tried to prepare the team both offensively and defensively by making crosses from the right and left sides. Later, the technique gave players free kicks and penalty shootouts.

There is a big difference between amateur and professional teams with regard to facilities and budgets. This team looks as though they have everything they need as the facilities look quite decent.

Facilities do not belong to the club. a state-owned organization.

I think supporting the local club is important but unfortunately football is becoming a sports that is ruled by money and to make the most money clubs have to attract viewers. This is done by making a show out of every football game which is in my opinion the complete wrong way. I think what makes football beautiful is that passion and determination can go a long way.

Money is like football's biggest killer. But can football develop this much without money?

I suppose some teams are just so big that they're supported by the masses, then you have the rest. Can I just say, those photos you've taken are absolutely amazing. It's a world a way from me in Australia and great to see other parts of the world in all its glory.

I agree with what you said. It's up to us to support small teams.
Sometimes I follow Australian football, I think it's enjoyable. It's like the little brother of the English Premier league.

I think it's the little unborn fetus of the English Premier League 😂 unfortunately our leave is going downhill after such a strong start in its history. We could attract players like Del Piero and Heskey but unfortunately the quality of our league is diminishing
