Mark Is Back | TWS and Calawis Skateboarding

This skateboarding session happened in the afternoon of May 04, 2025. Almost one month ago, when Mark was back in town. No wasting of time, two days after Mark was back in town, we just headed to the hardware with one of the original members of TWS named Michael Milla a.k.a "Kirara". The reason why we went to the hardware store is to buy a steel pipe because Mark wanted to make a small rail that just fits on his car, so wherever we go, we have a rail.

After we bought a steel pipe, we headed to a welding shop to pay a welder who wanted to build a rail. In just an hour, a welder finished our rail, and then I called our friends in Teresa, Rizal, to skate together in Antipolo.

From 2008 to 2010, only the three of us were left as members of TWS and active in skateboarding in our town. In 2013, when Mark left the Philippines and went to Abu Dhabi to work abroad, Michael and I stopped skating. We didn't see each other for so many years. I stopped skating in 2014 because I have a daughter, but in 2018, I tried to get back and be active in skateboarding again. From 2020 up to this day, I have been skating once a week. The guy on the left is Michael Milla, the guy in the middle is Mark, and I'm the guy on the right.

Mark perfectly landed a Frontside Boardslide on his new rail, and he told us the rail is good.

Every time I'm skating, I never miss landing my Kickflip. I don't know why, but I'm not satisfied if I'm not doing a Kickflip. Thanks to my filmer named Chris Lawrence, he captured my Kickflip and I landed it perfectly.

Lawrence Traquina perfectly landed his Frontside Boardslide, one of his favorite slide tricks.

Bernard Arandilla perfectly landed his Boardslide. He failed multiple times before he landed it, maybe because he couldn't find his rhythm using the new rail.

Gerald Martin perfectly landed a Halfcab Boardslide. That is the first time I've seen him doing that trick, and it's really good to see he remembers his old tricks.

After we had skated for almost 4 hours, we were all really tired and starving, so we all went to the KFC to eat dinner. A simple and happy dinner with your friends.
