Our Last Skateboarding Sesh In 2025 | TWS and Calawis Skateboarding
I'm so grateful because before the year 2025 ends, I've been able to shred in the skatepark with my two friends named Bernard Arandilla and Rael Caladiao. We arrived at the park exact 8:00 AM, but there were no other skaters yet, and that's fine with me, less distraction. One important thing you need to bring, besides the skateboard, is a helmet, because it's not allowed to play inside the park if you are not wearing a helmet. I don't like to skate with a helmet, it feels weired but we don't have a choice just for safety precautions.
Highlights
After I prepared all the stuff that I needed, I didn't waste time, I just jumped inside the park and started to warm up. Like always, before we start to film, I'm heating up my whole body to execute some tricks. Honestly, I have a plan to land a trick that I never landed for so many years because I'm scared to do, but that time I conquered my fear because I really, really wanted to land that trick again. Before I film this trick, I tried a couple tries If I still can do. In my first tried I felt a little bit nervous because one wrong move, I could smack into the floor. After a couple of tries, I finally landed my Ollie Up and dropped to the Ollie pad. I couldn't remember how many tries I took before I landed this trick again, but it doesn't matter.
After practicing my Ollie Up from the Ollie pad, I told Bernard to film me, and this time it is different and serious. In my first try with the camera, I failed to land my Ollie up to the Ollie pad. In my second try, I perfectly landed my Ollie up from the Ollie pad, and I'm quite surprised because I never expected to land this trick on my second try, since I never did this trick for a long time.
Without any hesitation, Rael perfectly executed a Wally Ride into a small Half Pipe. He was lucky because at that time I put my action camera on a tripod and captured the whole trick. I made an action sequence photograph using Photoshop.
Honestly, this is one of the best tricks Bernard landed a 360 Flip drop to an Ollie pad. After a couple of failures, he landed the 360 Flip drop really smooth it's was so easy for him since the 360 Flip is one of his favorite flip tricks.
