TWS Crew Topic: Frontside Ollie 50-50 Grind At The Ledge By Joshua Bragais

avatar

Here is my newest "TWS Crew Topic" on this topic I wanted to share with you how Joshua Bragais finally got his Frontside 50-50 Grind at the ledge. One thing that I really, really much like about Joshua he is so consistent to do a trick he never just stop until he made it. Sometimes he got tired and he didn't get the trick on that day but in the next session he does it again the trick that he didn't on the last session. Although Joshua skating for almost 2 years now he takes one trick for too long but there is no problem with that the important thing is he tries until he makes it.

Not A Perfect Frontside Ollie 50-50 Grind

When our ledge is destroyed for so many weeks Joshua stopped practicing his Frontside 50-50 Grind that's he failed so many times. On his first try when Joshua pops his Frontside Ollie towards the ledge the board starts to grind but the trucks unattached to the angle bar that's why he is out of balance.

On his second try of the Frontside 50-50 Grind at the ledge, his Frontside Ollie 5050 starts to grind on the angle bar. When Joshua nearest to the end of the ledge he didn't smoothly pull out the board that's he threw away from his board.

The third try is so much worse than the first and second tries because Joshua all the pressure of his foot goes to his front foot that's why the board leans forward and makes look at Nosegrind. The board stopped and he threw away from his board.

Joshua almost got his Frontside 50-50 Grind on his fourth try but unfortunately, the board stuck at the end of the ledge. One thing that I observe about Joshua's Frontside 50-50 Grind he didn't lean backward the back tail of his board when he pulled out the board. The Frontside Ollie 50-50 is fine but he had a problem to out the board.

A Perfect Frontside Ollie 50-50 Grind

After so many tries Joshua finally made his Frontside Ollie 50-50 Grind at the ledge. It doesn't matter if he had a problem about the out I think he can manage that in his future session. The Frontside Ollie 50-50 are smooth to grind to the angle bar and he out his board, not a sweet roll-out but he actually made it. I hope he can figure out that small problem to his Frontside Ollie 50-50 Grind soon. This is, for now, see to my next "TWS Crew Topic".

P.S: I've been playing skateboarding since 2005 and started filming and editing in 2011. On the TWS skate video, you'll find a random of tricks and behind skateboarding, we are not pro skaters we just skate for fun and I really love this.
