Welcome Back Carlos Zapanta

Hey guys, it's been a while since the last time I posted in this amazing skateboarding community. Today I wanted to share with you that our friend, named Carlos Zapanta, was officially back on board after ten years. Long short story in 2011, we met Carlos, he was skating together with us for almost two years, and then he stopped, and I don't really know what his reasons. Fast forward to last February of this year, and he was finally back on his feet and skating again. He had a job now in a Pizza Burger Store, and every Monday and Tuesday, he had no work, which is why we were shredding every Tuesday.

Highlights:

This is his first Ollie after he stopped shredding for almost ten years, and the image speaks for itself, he is so rusty, and that is normal because he stopped for so long. But after a couple of tries, he got his Ollie's back, and I told him he needed more time to practice all the tricks.

After he got his Ollie's back, he tried another trick, and this time he perfectly landed his Fakie Ollie. Yep, he failed multiple times before he perfectly landed this trick, but the good thing is, he still got the Fakie Ollie.

After he got his Ollie and Fakie Ollie's back, I told him to try a Pop Shove-it because I knew he could perfectly land this trick. He started practicing the Pop Shove-it after a multiple of failures. He finally perfectly landed his Pop Shove-it, and I'm right, he can do it.

Honestly, I'm so glad for him because he is really back to skating, and I hope he continues to skate until he doesn't want to skate again.
