I was surprised to hear that this is a referee training, not for the actual players. Then I thought. Of course, even referees need to be trained.

There is! Somebody hd tp know what a foul and violation is. There are hand signals in each offense and numbers of the jersey of those who did it.
How long do they train for? A few weeks? A whole curriculum?
