[ESP/ENG] Ya están los 4 grandes del Campeonato Mundial de Baloncesto Masculino

El Campeonato Mundial de Baloncesto llegó a su fase semifinal y están 4 equipos de las dos principales potencias del deporte: dos países de Norteamérica y dos de Europa. Por nuestro continente están Estados Unidos y Canadá, mientras que por Europa están los equipos de Alemania y Serbia.

Ha sido un torneo de una calidad impresionante en el que los finalistas del año anterior no están y, sólo Alemania es el único medallista que queda vivo del mundial anterior, en el que la gran potencia del baloncesto mundial alcanzó el lugar número 7, su peor actuación histórica.

En esta publicación el autor dará sus consideraciones en torno a las semifinales y otros elementos necesarios sobre el torneo que se está desarrollando en tres países de Asia, así como el pronóstico de países para discutir la final del día domingo 10 de septiembre.

Principales consideraciones del mundial

Este ha sido un mundial en el que ha habido mucha rivalidad y algunos países se han destacado, a pesar de no ser de lo más tradicionales en al Baloncesto internacional. Otros elementos han caracterizado esta competición, pero, para el autor estos son los aspectos que destacaría:

•Por primera vez se desarrolla un torneo del orbe con tres países de Asia como sedes: Filipinas, Japón e Indonesia
•Hay varios equipos que han tenido una participación destacada y entre ellos se destacan Canadá y Letonia. En el caso de los canadienses están por primera vez, entre los cuatro grandes del planeta y, Letonia por ganarle a grandes equipos como España vigente campeona del mundo o a Brasil una de las potencias de Sudamérica.
•Francia no pasó de la fase de ronda y fue la gran decepción del mundial, con una plantilla llamada a pelear por los lugares de privilegios.
•España fue eliminada en cuartos de final y perdió la posibilidad de revalidar su título. Otros equipos con sus estrellas de la NBA quedaron en el camino, como es el caso de la Eslovenia de Luka Doncic.
•Alemania es el único equipo que ha ganado todos sus encuentros, lo que demuestra la gran calidad del torneo, en que hasta el propio Estados Unidos perdió con Lituania y, aunque el juego no significaba mucho para los de Norteamérica sí les hirió en su amor propio.

Semifinales a la vista

Este viernes se juegan las dos semifinales de donde saldrán los dos equipos que discutirán la corona mundial dos días después. En ambos encuentros se medirán representantes de América vs Europa, por lo que veremos dos escuelas y estilos de juegos diferentes.

Estados Unidos vs Alemania

Este será un encuentro muy interesante porque el que Estados Unidos no tenga a los mejores jugadores de su país y haya asistido con un equipo preferentemente joven pone el cotejo muy interesante.

Alemania es el único equipo que ha ganado todos sus juegos y es el único de los cuatro semifinalistas del mundial anterior que se mantiene con vida. Tienen un juego muy completo y sus jugadores están más adaptados que sus rivales a jugar con las reglas de la Federación Internacional de Baloncesto .

Estados Unidos perdió un cotejo y quizás esto los despertó del letargo en el que estaban sumidos y en el partido anterior rumbo a esta fase sacaron la mejor versión de ellos y “arrollaron”, literalmente, al equipo italiano.

El hecho de tener jugadores jóvenes no quiere decir que no tengan calidad porque los doce integrantes del conjunto juegan en equipos de la Liga Nacional de Baloncesto de los Estados Unidos y tienen un dominio de todas las áreas de juego, lo que los hace un rival sumamente difícil de derrotar porque pueden apelar al juego interior, individual o desde el perímetro y tienen una mejor banca que sus rivales.

Para este autor el favorito es el equipo de Estados Unidos.

Serbia vs Canadá

Este será un partido de poder a poder porque ambos equipos tienen numeritos parecidos en cuanto a victorias y derrotas; cantidad de puntos por partidos y muchos otros datos que se llevan en las estadísticas.

La derrota de ambos equipos fue con un equipo de su misma zona geográfica, pues, mientras Serbia perdía con Italia, Canadá lo hacía con Brasil.

De los dos equipos el de los Balcanes tiene más experiencias en estas instancias adonde Canadá llega por primera vez en su historia. Quizás el ansia por llegar a discutir su primer mundial de la historia sea un elemento que los impulse para tratar de estar en la final, pero el equipo del Mejor Jugador de las finales de la NBA de este año, Nikola Jokic, inclina la balanza para el equipo serbio.

Mi favorito es el equipo de Serbia.

Una canasta final

El viernes tendremos a los dos equipos que discutirán el título mundial de Baloncesto y que será el nuevo rey luego que España fuera eliminada en Cuartos de Finales y no pudiera acceder a luchar por mantener su corona.

Se pueden dar dos combinaciones para la final porque pueden discutir la medalla de oro dos países del mismo continente o países de cada uno de los continentes presentes en las semifinales. Lo que ocurra lo sabremos mañana.

La buena noticia para los cuatro equipos es que aseguraron sus boletos de clasificación para los Juegos Olímpicos de París, Francia que se desarrollarán en el verano del año 2024.

Una cosa es segura, la lucha por las medallas será una batalla bien dura.

A necessary introduction

The World Basketball Championship has reached its semifinal stage and there are 4 teams from the two main powers of the sport: two countries from North America and two from Europe. For our continent there are the United States and Canada, while for Europe there are the teams from Germany and Serbia.

It has been a tournament of impressive quality in which the finalists of the previous year are not present and only Germany is the only medalist left alive from the previous world championship in which the great power of world basketball reached the 7th place, its worst performance ever.

In this publication the author will give his considerations about the semifinals and other necessary elements about the tournament that is taking place in three Asian countries, as well as the forecast of countries to discuss the final on Sunday, September 10.

Main considerations of the World Cup

This has been a World Cup in which there has been a lot of rivalry and some countries have stood out, despite not being the most outstanding in international basketball. Other elements have characterized this competition, but for the author these are the elements that stand out:

• For the first time a tournament of the orb is developed with three Asian countries as host: Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.
• There are several teams that have had an outstanding participation and among them Canada and Latvia stand out. Semifinals in sight

This Friday, the two semifinals will be played, from which the two teams that will dispute the world crown two days later will emerge. In both matches, representatives from America vs. Europe will face each other, so we will see two different schools and styles of play.

This will be a very interesting match because the fact that the United States does not have the best players of their country and has gone with a preferably young team makes the match very interesting.

Germany is the only team that has won all their games and is the only one of the four semifinalists from the previous World Cup that is still alive. They have a very complete game and their players are more adapted to playing under the rules of the International Basketball Federation than their rivals.

The United States lost a game and perhaps this woke them up from the lethargy in which they were submerged and in the previous game on the way to this phase they brought out the best version of themselves and "overwhelmed", literally, the Italian team.

Both teams lost to a team from the same geographic zone, because while Serbia lost to Italy, Canada lost to Brazil.

Of the two teams, the Balkan team has more experience in these instances, where Canada has reached for the first time in its history. Perhaps the eagerness to discuss their first World Cup in history is an element that drives them to try to reach the final, but the team of this year's NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic tips the scales for the Serbian team.

On Friday we will have the two teams that will discuss the World Basketball title and who will be the new king after Spain was eliminated in the Quarterfinals and could not agree to fight to keep its crown.

There are two possible combinations for the final because two countries from the same continent or countries from each of the continents present in the semifinals can dispute the gold medal. We will know what happens tomorrow.
