I meant, why are you "around the track" and not "on the track"? Like in "Better go for some running on the track instead of hanging around near the track"... !LOL

I used to run on the track only when I’m fine tuning my pace not when I run for pleasure

I understand, allthough I believe that "fine tuning pace" should be a constant process, not something one is doing 2 weeks or so before the "goal" competition....
