And still raining...

...but not enough to make us stop running.
In fact, there are only a couple of things that can really make me skip my almost daily run, work and family.
The fact is that today has been quite an intense day at the work level but I managed to escape from a meeting 30' before it ended... advantages of teleworking of course.
We have made the typical short walk to the nearby hill and I have taken a photo of this beautiful graffiti just when Enzo felt like stopping due to "force majeure".

Tomorrow, if all goes well, I'm going to try a long Fartlek, without the dog, on a flat surface. I have to put a little intensity into my training to adapt the body to new cruising speeds.

Keep on running!

I have not logged in a run for two weeks now, I've not updated any running activity for two months...This feels so strange. I must correct this anomaly on saturday.

Great job Eddie, you're an inspiration

Thanks. What happens? I thought you were preparing a half marathon or so...

I was... Work got more intense along with some personal issues...nothing too serious but requiring commitment in terms of time and effort. Am still definitely in Half marathon shape (Though definitely won't be running a personal best) but more important, I still am super passionate about running

I don't like this kind of graffiti, and less when it's in nature or someone elses property... if at least they made some "beautiful" painting...
Looking forward to how you'll build up the fartlek tomorrow, though. !hivebits

Well, don't expect so much sofistications, I'm planning a pyramidal Fartlek, you know, 1-1,2-2,3-3,4-4,5,4-4,3-3,2-2,1-1

If these are minutes, I think that's quite a long fartlek to start with... 45 minutes? In the middle you've got 4' fast, 4' slow, 5' fast, 4' fast, 4' slow? That will be a very tough 9 fast minutes...

no, after the 5' fast I reverse to 4'slow... Normally it should be 5' slow but, as you said, it's too long...

The graffiti looks a bit I don't know... I think we are more used to see this kind of things in murals or inside a street itself. I think it's great that you're continuing the habit of running despite the long work days!
