Fighting the wind

This is the only handicap that exists when you train by the sea, the wind that tends to blow in one direction or another...
This time I ran against the wind and came back against the wind, and today it was blowing quite strongly.

I wanted to do a smooth progressive as I usually do, with which I came out calm and I have been progressing as the kilometers passed.
The problem is that even if you think you are going smoothly, you are not only wasting energy running slowly but also counteracting the 20km/h headwind with which you totally lose control.
Upon reaching km 4 I turned around and it was very easy to go at a cruising speed close to 4'10"/km, however, the harm was already done since all the effort I made during the first 4kms.
As I've already said, it sucks to train with the wind, I almost prefer it to rain or snow but hey, the training has been done which is good. 8km in 38 minutes.

More details to be published later with my @strava2hive post.

Keep on running!

Man, it still looks like summer there. I'm gonna miss it for the next half a year or so.

we have to train in all conditions to adapt and be strong, this kind of thing will prepare you for competitions where we can't control anything.

It's good that you're already doing faster times! keep it up!
