Arsenal – Not set to give up chase for Dusan Valhovic

Arsenal have been long-term admirers of Fiorentina forward Dusan Valhovic and reports making the rounds suggest the deal is not set to be an easy one for the Gunners. If ever there is a chance for success, Arsenal would have to cough out over 130 million euros to prepare the deal.

A couple of days ago, Dusan Valhovic made some statements about the potentiality of the deal and according to him, Arsenal have not proven themselves to be ambitious enough. In other words, he was not pleased with the deal the Gunners were bringing to the table.

Despite the huge fee placed on Valhovic by Fiorentina, Arsenal are keen on making the deal successful. They see Valhovic as one of Europe's hottest properties right now and should be joining the Emirate stadium

As it stands, the Gunners only have one striker they can count on – Alexandre Lacazette. Aubameyang has fallen out of favour with the manager, and has been stripped off the captaincy. Young Eddie Nketiah is also not a player that has impressed the manager a lot, therefore, he would be seeking Greener pastures elsewhere.

It could just be that Valhovic is the messiah Arsenal is looking for since the urge to have him in the team is of essence to Arsenal but can they actually cough out a whopping 130m Euros?

I really don't think that arsenal would be willing to spend that much money to buy the striker

I agree with @alt-runner it's just not in Arsenals DNA to splash the cash like that. STUNNING that he only cost €1.95m few years back though.

Surely Newcastle would just splash cash for players like this if they want to go next level
