All of a sudden everyone is saying VAR is meant to help Liverpool win the league. Even at the viewing centre where I actually watched the match, I wouldn't stop laughing at some weird statement coming out of the mouths of some aggrieved city fans.

Some said FA is only trying so hard to dethrone Manchester City due to the officiating of the match that favoured Liverpool while some made it look like it was the referee or VAR that actually made Manchester City defence porous to have conceded 3 goals at Anfield.

All of a sudden the defeat of Manchester City at Anfield is now blamed on VAR, which according to them was meant to favour Liverpool so that City won't be able to close the 6 points gap

I even heard some people saying the game was fixed with the use of VAR. One of those craziest things I've ever heard in a long time 🤣

Everyone keep blaming the referee for not awarding two clear penalty but no one accepted the fact that City obviously weren't good enough this time to battle with Liverpool

Yeah two clear penalty call were ignored but it's part of football. Shit happens but it doesn't change the fact that Liverpool were a better team and their outplayed City

It was destined for man city to lose today's event everyday is not Xmas! I know they would have settled for a draw, but hey this is England and football alot is at stake and one way or the other they found them self in the position they are in right now giving the refeer and VAR the opportunity to rule in Liverpools favor
