My Actifit Report Card: November 19 2025 || A Day Assisting Block Makers with Hand Molds at My Brother’s Site
Hi Amazing Hivers!
It's another beautiful day on the land of living and it's with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're all doing well and having a great day.
I spent all my time assisting and monitoring block makers at my brother's construction site today, even though this is not my first time but still it's an eye opening experience for me. We used hand block molds instead of working with typical machines and this gave me a new perspective on the construction process and the craftsmanship involved in creating a strong building blocks.
We began today's work by preparing the cement, sand and water mixture to the thorough consistency. One basic and crucial factors to make a strong building blocks using hand block mold rely on getting the right proportion and quality mixing of cement, sand and water and I make sure to carefully watched as they do so.
The mixture is pour in to the hand mold after mixing and was filled evenly in the absence of air pockets. Before I forget, the hand mold were made of strong metal and it is heavy as well.
Using hand block mold was labor intensive and it's a process that required teamwork and focus. The work was good tough due to the harsh weather and too much heat from the sun but the satisfaction of getting the job done and seeing the end product made it all worthwhile.
Today was not only about monitoring and assisting to create building blocks, but it was a reminder of the skill, dedication and hard work that goes into every step of construction. And lastly, we have to wet the blocks for like two or three days to make it stronger and durable.
And at the end of the day I was able to achieve 10k actifit step count.
