There's also a related !MEME about someone offering to ask a (tricky) question for which he will get paid $10 if the person being asked doesn't answer correctly, and if the person asked answers (correctly), then the asker must pay $100. 🤔🤓 It turned out that the question was basically impossible to answer, making the asker earn $10 on that meme. 🤯🤯😆😆🤣😂

Yes, indeed, that's true, but not simply for the graphics, though those help a lot too. !MEMEs are so useful because, one, they are an excellent way to educate people in bite-sized chunks, and two, because they also often evade algorithms on various web2 platforms. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Well, I have an account, and I was sharing my Hive posts there for a while, but the wallet situation there was a bit too annoying, plus I never got any zaps anyway, so I eventually just uninstalled and stopped using it. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

That was the main problem, I couldn't set up my Nostr wallet, since I live in the US, it said that it was unavailable to me, so I had to set up the Alby wallet, which was more of a pain than it was worth. Yes, I still have the key saved. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Remember that there are many #Nostr apps and Bitcoin Lightning Wallets (either custodial or self-custodial) that you can choose from that is available in the country where you live (even in the little island of Hawaii). 🤔🤓🤗

Anyway, unlike a Hive account, a #Nostr "account" exists only as a secret key, and as such, only any transaction that got signed by such key exists, and there are no "accounts" to begin with. 🤔🤯 When someone creates a new "account" on Nostr, the Nostr app being used makes such account follow itself, so there is a signed transaction for other Nostr people to follow. 😎🤓😏

I think that Primal is one of the most popular #Nostr apps, as it appears on or near the top of search engine results when searching for "Nostr apps". 🤔🤯

Anyway, here's a reminder for you to be careful putting your Nostr nsec key on apps and websites, since it is like a Bitcoin private key which if stolen, then your accumulated zaps that you haven't withdrawn yet may be lost (if the access to your Lightning Wallet requires just your Nostr nsec key) and someone else can publish posts and comments using that key, because nsec keys cannot be changed. 🧘‍♂️🤯🤗🤓

Paying more or less $10 per month just to unlock premium features for a #Nostr app sounds expensive, and paying for a premium plan on a particular app makes you avoid using other Nostr apps until your premium subscription ends. 🤔💸🤯 In general, the more popular an app, the higher its premium plans are. 💸🤯🤓

Since there are no Nostr "accounts", they cannot be "deleted", so anyone with an nsec key can publish posts and comments using that key indefinitely. 🤯🤯 Some Nostr relays accept certain "delete account" transactions, though even if just 10% of the relays don't accept such transactions, a Nostr "account" will continue to exist despite a "delete account" command being broadcast. 🤯🤓

#Nostr being just a protocol means that relays don't necessarily have to agree with each other regarding how they process transactions, which arguably makes it even more decentralized. 🤔🤯🤓
