Hands On The Face Feeling .

I still cannot get over Arsenal's loss to Westham yesterday at the Emirates . I just keep wondering if the team is really ready to acheive premeir league success this season. Consistency is a major part of Arsenal's problem which I can't stop to always emphasize.

After dropping two points at Anfield one would have expected the Gunners to approach the Westham game at the Emirates with much fierceness and blistering performance but the exact opposite seems to be the case .

It was indeed a dreadful performance and result yesterday . Playing that way would never get us this league . To be honest at this juncture it is very difficult to say if the Gunners will clinch the premeir league trophy with these their occasional abysmal performance . The premier league is a tough and highly competitive league , once your team displays an iota of mediocrity trust me the team will be nowhere to be found.

It was indeed an unwanted record for Arsenal yesterday . This is the first time on record a Premier League team has had 77 touches in the opposition box without scoring. I think its safe to say we do actually need a clinical striker at this juncture if we really want to contest for the league trophy . I mean the boys found it so difficult to convert their chances even though the Westham team parked the bus for most of the game .

I still can't belive Gabriel Jesus missed a glearing chance in the 65th minute sending his header wide . Chances such as this are meant to be concerted when gotten. It's just so sad our 9 can't convert basic chances when we actually need him to do so .

There are certain players in the Arsenal team that are begining to get weary . Martinelli is a fine example to be candid . For the past few matches he has honestly been below par. I really do not know what's wrong with him because his performance levels these days has obviously dropped . He holds the ball way too much like grudges and he hardly beats his man on a 1v1 situation. This definitely ain't the Martinelli of last season we used to know .

Trossard as well has dropped form tremendously . He came in as a replacement for suspended Kai Havertz and one could hardly feel his presence in the fold yesterday . Trossard needs to do much better, his decision-making has been awful.

Zinchenko is another player in the fold that needs to be seriously called out. Zinchenko makes at least 5 errors every game. Sometimes we are lucky his mistakes don’t get punished.

There’s a reason why Pep was willing to throw him away. Watching that guy defend should be added to one thousand ways to diiee. He's shocking defence wise and I honestly can't put up with him at the left back role .

Zinchenko is a major problem, he was a level raiser when we signed him but we’ve already outgrown him. People act like he’s the only player who can control a game. Someone with his technical ability should not be giving the ball away all the time.

Officiating in the EPL really gets me bewildered atimes . How can they say they had inconclusive evidence that the ball didn't cross the line leading to Westham's first goal . This is the second time this season a case like this is happening to Arsenal . The ball was clearly out of play when Bowen brought it back for Souchek to hit at goal. It's really just appalling that decisions like this are made .

Losing matches in this manner just because we aren't able to convert goal scoring chances when we get them will be highly detrimental to our aim of acheiving EPL success this season . The competition is tough and fierce , any form of slacking will always be a huge fatal blow . For the Gunners , they've got a lot of fixing up to do if they don't want to bottle the league. Inconsistency in match performances and result will always be their undoing if they don't seek ways to address it.
