My Actifit Report Card: September 9 2021

We're finally up in "Big Sky" country in western Montana but unfortunately there isn't much sky to look at right now.

Many, many forest fires in the area so a hazy sky all day. Luckily it wasn't so thick that it irritated my lungs or affected me on my walk.
At least we all got out for a couple of hours high up in the Pioneer Mountain area to look around for crystals at the aptly named Crystal Park.

A bit more altitude and the rough ground gave us a little bit of a challenge nut it wasn't hard work poking around. Lulu has fun exploring this beautiful area and trying to chase the many squirrels.

A few nice crystals for my efforts

It was a hazy and warm few hours up to Helena

so it was great to be out of the car for the day and have a bit if a walk around the old city center. An easy couple of miles with frequent stops along the way in the nice grassy parks so Lulu could look around.

I'm too tired to try to walk much now, just want to have a bit of dinner and plan our next few days.
Tomorrow it's off to the El Dorado Bar sapphire location and try our luck - see you all tomorrow.
