My Actifit Report Card: October 19 2021

Another cool October day for my (pretty) usual morning walk and and afternoon out in the hills with Lulu.
Off early for a hilly loop around the Sierry Peaks neighborhood which looms over the city.
Strong pace and my legs felt good although the downhills bothered me a bit - probably because the extra pounds I've put on since I'm not running.
It was nice to cross paths with a couple of other active people that I have met before. Seems people are always happy when they're outdoors.
Afterwards Lulu got over to the dog park to see her morning crew friends and have fun with everyone.

Ended the day with another couple of hours out at Copper Basin Wash working through the gravel near the old mines hoping to find s bit of gold.
Several buckets and a few pieces of the shiny stuff for my efforts.

It was a busy day and I'm dusty, dirty and tired - a nice shower and let's call it a day⛺
