My Actifit Report Card: December 2 2021
A refreshing early morning walk up towards Thumb Butte on some quiet rural roads.
The hilly route was still fun for my walk as it was one of my more regular running spots-just at the edge of town but still very tranquil.
At least the climbs were long and not horribly steep but it still was a hard effort to maintain a good pace while heading up. Plus the downhills were very gradual so my knees appreciated not getting pounded on the descent.
I felt very good afterwards and headed over to the park to sit and chat while Lulu ran around with her pals.
Tomorrow it's off to Holbrook to help with a transport of some fortune rez puppies and a neglected adult coming down from the Navajo lands to a better life over in Las Vegas until they can get healthy and find their forever homes. Still too many aren't lucky but I'm glad to help.
