My Actifit Report Card: December 29 2021
Old Man Winter decided to hang around a bit longer here in the hills - more overnight snow and cold days - but it wasn't horrible for my walk (and Lulu had fun!!).
The back roads were still a bit slippery with a coating of slush and thin snow. That slowed me a bit but the landscape was beautiful with the white coating of snow.
A couple of other hardy souls were actually out jogging on the Sierry Peaks route. The sidewalk was mostly covered with snow so it was easier for us all to stick to being on the road itself (fortunately very little traffic).
I was able to maintain my footing and I didn't slip even on the more slick spots and the crusty surface at the roads edge helped.
The sun played in and out for the remainder of the day and it wasn't a day to do much more outdoors. A little time at the park with Lulu then inside to watch the occasional snow flakes coming down.
