My Actifit Report Card: January 3 2022

2022 continues with a cold start as the thermometer was 22 degrees this morning but again the day finally warmed up enough for a good walk (now for the snow and ice to melt away😀).

Of course the first bit through the next door neighborhood and trail around the gravel pit were still a bit icy and slick so my pace suffered but it's a very quiet area and I got my New Year's foggy kisses from my furry friend Andy the Lab.

After that it was off on my favorite walking route over Sierry Peaks and the sun began to shine and make it nice. The sidewalks were still a bit problematic but there wasn't much traffic so I could walk in the road without any problems.
I was able to pick up the pace even with a couple of hills to make up for my slower start and ended up with one of my longer efforts - still hope to get running again soon.
