My Actifit Report Card: January 8 2022

Another beautiful sunny January day and I continue to see improvement in my endurance- going to be interesting if I can get back to ultramarathon condition by the autumn.

I felt a little bit tired when I headed out on my run but my health metrics and HRV numbers were trending positively so that was a plus. Still, my early pace was really slow but I planned to simply do repeat loops of the nearby back roads (0.4 miles each time) and then back home. I pretty much did that but did a bit on the jeep trail to change it up a bit. In the end I loosened up after a mile or so and my pace was better although still not a good as I would have liked-but it was over 4 miles so let's keep up the effort and improve.
The afternoon was spent over in Copper Basin again as I dug out a bit in my previous prospecting spot after the past rains had caved in the spot. Lulu relaxed and watched while I dug in the dirt.

I ended my day with a couple more miles just walking easily over to do a bit of light shopping. Didn't bother to record my effort as it was nothing strenuous.
Hopefully not to cold in the morning and we'll see how my legs feel.
