My Actifit Report Card: June 5 2022

We're going to be very happy 😊 when our car has been repaired and we can get out and explore again but for now it was another warm day stuck around home.

Lulu and I had a good morning walk as several of our friends were out on the dirt ares enjoying a walk as well. No bunnies to chase but a nice 2.5+ miles for us and Lulu keeps getting more and more endurance while the relaxed pace is a nice way to start the day.

The sun's early rise gets the temperature up quickly so even our earlier start means the thermometer is already in the mid-70s.

My afternoon walk was a good hard effort as I went along one of my old running 🏃‍♂️ routes that climbed up a nice ascent of almost a mile to loop in front of Thumb Butte and then gradually wind back around to home.

The Butte is always a wonderful sight against the bright blue sky and the quiet roads are a nice break even if I'm just a mile out of town.

I felt a bit tired from being stuck around the RV but the 6 mile effort helped perk me up and the nice gentle descent to home made for an easier walk and a good overall experience.
Here's to hoping my car is repaired soon and we're able to get out and travel.
