My Actifit Report Card: June 14 2022

We're all tired tonight after a busy day. Lulu and I had a very nice walk up in Flagstaff this morning and I had a tough walk in the hot Prescott afternoon.

Fortunately the weather up in Flagstaff was much nicer today than last week's 90s. We went up o the climbing trail on Mars Hill again although several severe forest fires just north of the area had reduced the number of people out walking.

The cooling wind helped clea the smoke from the city but certainly wasn't helping the fire fighting up in the hills..

The cooler temperatures were a relief on the steady mile climb up the trail and both Lulu and I were much more comfortable today even though we were working fairly hard. Of course the best part for my little girl was a splash in the pond and checking out the ducks.

And a nice belly rub on the cool park grass for her hard work😁

My afternoon walk. although quick, was a tedious affair along the busy main roads from dropping off our rental car and walking home. Lots of busy traffic and boring city scenery along with hotter temperatures made me hurry up my pace to get back home. At least I really put in a couple of good exercises but I can't wait to have our car back so that I can get out prospecting again (and hopefully even try some overnight camping as well).
