My Actifit Report Card: July 26 2022

Another Tuesday so it was another enjoyable day trip up to Flagstaff for us all. Cloudy, cool snd occasionally rainy weather kept us company but Lulu and I had another great hike/walk in the forest.

As usual the first gradual uphill mile was at a good clip as Lulu was only interested in getting up yo the park and trails to look for squirrels to chase. Once we started the climb up the dirt road and then trail on Mars Hill our pace slowed a bit (sort of a "stop and smell the roses" mode but for Lulu it was "stop and smell the roses and then pee on them 😁). -It still was a nice climb up to our turn around spot and we both were putting in a decent effort.


After a more relaxed decent down to the park it wax time for a splash.

The ducks weren't too thrilled to see Lulu but birds don't thrill her that much.

Finally a cooling roll I the grass to you off (her) walk. Life is good!!!!

I was eager to get out for some afternoon solo miles and even thought about a bit of jogging bug I started out with my usual loop on the neighboring toads and a stretch on the dirt roads around the gravel pit.
That wasn't too quick but once I got back on the main roads my pace picked up and I made the effort to try to go faster.
Even with a couple of hills I was moving along nicely snd felt good enough to jog a couple of stretches to see how my body responded. All in all a very positive effort and I'm happy to be improving.

Tomorrow I hope to check out Lynx Creek. Everyone have a good rest of your day.
