My Actifit Report Card: September 26 2022

I started off the last week in September on a positive note with a couple of easy walks and a good 10 km run sandwiched in between. Still have a ways to go but I'm happy with my progress.

My training level is still rating in the fatigue ranch according to my Coros and Stryd data but I'm hoping that my past ultra level will carry me through until my base endurance is back to my level of 3 years ago.

As usual Lulu was ready to walk at sunrise 🌅 so we headed out early. Kind of easy pace as she was interested in checking all of the smells but figure it was about at 3 mph for just a tad under 2 miles. Mostly helps loosen me up and get my metabolism going a bit (I was still fasting until 2 pm) and Lulu needs her daily exercise as well.
After some good strong coffee with just a small shot of keto creamer for breakfast it was off to tackle a run around on the more challenging Sierry Peaks route which was my usual when I was running more. A flat 2 miles to start that was around 10 minutes pace as my legs were still tighter than I would have liked. Then it was almost a mile up a gradual and fairly steady climb which slowed me down to 10:30 range but a nice decent helped get me ready for the second long climb to my last crest and 550 feet of ascent as it was a welcome 2 miles back down to home where I was able to stretch out my stride and put in a couple of sub 9 minute miles and even "sprint" (well sort of) the last half mile to home.
Probably one of my 'faster' 10 km efforts and a great way to start the week.
Just an easy 3 miles to wrap up the day with some easy miles down around our fairgrounds and a healthy 20k step total.
It will be a shorter activity day tomorrow as I'll be up in Flagstaff again so maybe a couple of miles walk with Lulu and hopefully enough energy left in my legs for some sort of afternoon run (although the long drive won't help much).
Metabolic metrics were 86 fasting glucose and 0.5 blood ketones
My Coros data ...
